We were awaken by the doorbell ringing, and constant pounding on our door, at 2 am. It was some neighbor boys yelling, "FIRE, FIRE, get out of your house!
SO....we did just that. We gathered the kids, and the dog, Geoff moved the Jeep to the street, and we were out. It was so sudden, and SO scary.
Our neighbors house, 2 doors away, was ON FIRE! We had no time to think, to gather, and luckily nothing happened to our house.
unfortunately, this house, on fire, was ruined.

What a horrible tragedy. You don't mention it, but I am sure your community helped this family out. I just have to comment on the pictures; did you or your husband take these pics? I really like them! Someone grabbed the camera (you must be true photographers!) and did a wonderful job photographing this event.
