It couldn't be

Really? Beck is 7 months today. NOOOOOOO!

Why do my babies grow up way too fast? I don't like it one bit.

It sure is fun to see him experience life though. He wants to get around so badly, which means he doesn't sit, and if we put him in a sitting position, he will fall right to the floor so that he can crawl and get into the toys.

His smile melts me. His giggle makes me laugh right along with him. His cuddles, though rare, are cherished. Every minute with him is special.

I didn't know that the bond I had with him would be so different than my bond with Paityn. He is mommy's boy, and Paityn is definitely daddy's girl.

Beck has had a busy 7 months in this world. I don't think I know many babies his age that have done so much is such a little amount of time. California twice, Seattle, Maui, San Francisco, Disneyland, the zoo, the beach, the fair, swimming pools....and much more. Hope we can keep up with all the fun he is wanting to have!

As for Paityn, if Beck is 7 months today, that means Paityn is 25 months today. She is a sweet little girl, with a sassy side. Did I have an attitude like her? Man, she is one independent 2 year old. She also takes after her daddy, always wanting to run around with no clothes on, not even a diaper (I should clear that up, that means that Geoff did that as a child, not now as an adult!)

She loves to color, and loves to read her stories. She also is beginning to watch television. She wakes up, brings me the remote, and says "show?" I don't like her to watch a lot of it, but when she wakes up in the morning I let her watch a few cartoons like Little Einstein's, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Both shows have good messages.

We love both of our children so much, and love watching them grow.
