Our weekend, with NO PICTURES! Isn't that weird that everyone else had their cameras but we didn't? I think so. I think we are a little drained from the picture taking. Hopefully others will have some fun ones I can "borrow".
So, this weekend it rained, hooray, and I loved every minute! It was a great excuse to sit inside, and do pretty much nothing.
We watched The LDS General Conference, and Paityn played. Actually, now that I think of it, I watched, Geoff listened on the radio, while he played Football on XBOX 360 ALL WEEKEND LONG! luckily he just borrowed the game system, because if he had one of his own, I would never see him.
On Saturday night the men went to Priesthood session together, well: Jerry, Geoff and Ben. The girls hung out with the little ones and we all went to dinner after at Red Robin, not my favorite, so I just got soup and salad. It is always fun being with Geoff's parents and siblings. (Geoff did take pictures with his phone, so maybe I will try to upload a couple)
On Sunday we enjoyed a family tradition of going to Grandpa and Grandma Heslop's home in Salt Lake City after the last session of conference. We always love this time of year, getting together with all of Geoff's mothers family. We enjoyed talking, Paityn enjoyed playing with the little ones, and we ALL enjoyed yummy food. My favorite, Annice's brownies. Can you share that recipe please? (they are actually healthy, and SO good!) Many photos were taken, unfortunately not by us. Geoff, Ben and Matt missed the big group photo, while they were out "hunting" for treasure with their metal detectors (Maybe Matt should blog about the metal detector, and the excitement of it)!
Conference, Family Time and Video Games....that about sums the 48 hour weekend...oh, wait, Geoff is still playing the video game and it is monday night!

I wish my family had fun traditions. Maybe if I ever get married I'll marry into a family that has fun ones.
I'm curious about the brownies. We made one growing up with carob instead of chocolate due to my dad be allergic to chocolate. But we altered the recipe, got rid of the wheat germ and added rice krispies instead of walnuts. (walnuts are optional... ) They where actually yummy.. we refused to eat it with wheat germ..... not sure what possessed my mom to add rice cripies.. I never would have.
