Tonight, we went as a family to our favorite Pumpkin Patch which is only down the street a few blocks. Unfortunately this year we were not able to cut our own pumpkins off of the vine. Instead, all of the pumpkins were lined up in rows. It was still fun, taking the wheel barrel and finding a couple of "perfect" pumpkins. I say perfect in quotes because it is amazing the difference in one's opinion of a good pumpkin vs. anothers opinion. I like the smooth round ones, others like them very wrinkly and tall.
We took many pictures of the event, and of the accident that ensued. I bent down to take a picture of Paityn, and as I put my knee on the pumpkin below, my knee went directly in the pumpkin and made a huge mess of my pants. I guess that pumpkin was a rotten one!!! It caused a laugh, and a nasty odor. I came directly home, just minutes ago...and put the pants directly in the wash. Geoff asked as I walked out of the laundry room; Where are your pants? Then he remembered the mess that was made!
This was our third year going to this same patch and we always enjoy the time we have together. What a fun Halloween memory that we made this year!

You take the most adorable pictures. You are good. The pictures capture Paityn's personality and how much fun she was having with you. Sorry about the pants, sounds like you had a great time anyway.
HA! LOL! bet that was a fun sight of your knee in a pumpkin! look at her little face and being Daddys helper. lovely times..
Lyn-Geoff took most of the pictures, but yes, he did a great job!
The pics are great, I love the one of her and the wheelbarrow, although her personality shines through on all her pics. You tell she is being raised in a loving environment. All kids should be so lucky.
It looks like you guys had a blast! And I love the semi black and white with color...how did you do that? It's so cool! You look great by the way! Are you feeling better?
How on earth did you get that cool coloring with the pictures?
Love the wheelbarrow picture!
I really like these pictures Geoff took. You must have taken the one with him in though. They are all really good.
I love the effect on the pastel colour.
That little girl has mischief in her face a lot of the time....
I can relate to that.
Sorr about the smashing pumpkin.
good name for a band.
Sorry, I meant to add, that we dont have anything like this here in England. Few cruddy pumpkins for carving turn up in supermarkets.
No one has them out side their houses etc.
We got the share in the memory in 1990 when we came over to visit friends in glendale and Murray.
Our video has yards of orange as we drive along. Nice.
I love the second picture of Paityn,it is adorable. Sounds like fun.
JOY...
Seriously Paityn is the prettiest baby ever. Every picture of her makes me smile. She is so full of life. Hope you are feeling better now.

LOVE all the photos!! Wish we could have joined you and taken advantage of those picture taking skils, great camera, and even better company. Oh well...maybe another time.
Looks like fun! Can't wait until we go next week sometime! Cute pics Geoff!
So fun! I love the pictures. You guys are talented photographers!
What adorable pictures - I especially like the one that is 2nd from the top - where she is holding on to the wheelbarrel.
That must be nice to have a pumpkin patch so close to your house too.
Love the pic of Paityn with the wheelbarrow. She is growing alot, she is a beauty.
Cedar City sucks!! We want to go to the pumpkin patch with you guys, just like last year!
I LOVE the pictures, the coloring, the focus, etc. You HAVE to take our pictures the next time we're up there, they are SO much better than Kiddie Kandids Krap. :)
