Today my Dad turns %@! Dad, I want you to know how much I love you and am SO thankful for your love for me and my family. Paityn loves her Grandpa, and even though you live in California (with the slight chance of moving to Utah someday, hint hint) I know she will get to see you often and know you well.I hope you are having an amazing day fly fishing today, and are able to catch many fish.
Some things about my dad for those who do not know him:
-Born and raised in Southern California
-Father of 3 boys, 1 girl
-Grandfather to 1 girl
-Married to my mom for I think 31 years now!
-LOVES to fly fish- you may find it odd that he loves it so much considering he despises to eat fish (that must be where I got it from!) So, he is a catch and release fisherman! One CRAZY thing he does for good luck while fishing, is kiss each one on the lips before he throws it back...yuck! (I can't believe I am disclosing that personal information...it is just disgusting to me, and to most!)
-Has more reptiles than most would know what to do with, and my mom loves it (ha ha)! He has chameleons, snakes, even a rattle snake, tortoises, other lizards, etc... (if you want to go to the zoo, my dad's garage is free of charge!)
-Has recently taken up the hobby of shooting, and got a new gun for Father's Day
-Very intelligent when it comes to U.S History. He loves Gen. George Custer, and War...and will read anything about it!
-is a Democrat (very opposite of my mother I might add!)
-Has a girlfriend named Lucy...ok she is his Jack Russel terrior, but they are attached at the hip, and he adores her!
- Loves baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs. He even owns a chair from the original field. He is also a huge Angels fan.-He is very giving, and cares so much about his family
There are many other things I could add to the list as well, but you get the idea. He is a very outdoorsy man, and he loves his family...almost as much as his animals!

The fishing tidbit got me laughing. He sounds like a great guy.
Your dad sounds great, I am not too sure about snakes and lizards, but everybody has their own thing. It shows that you and your dad are close, and that is priceless.
Joy...first of all, Custer was only a brigadier general (during the Civil War), he's actually registered as a Republican, it's spelled Jack Russell Terrier, and the chair he owns is from the original Comiskey Park, where the White Sox used to play, not the Cubs. Geez, Joy. Do your research next time!
