Our Weekend with Best friends

Our weekend was fun-filled, spent with many great friends.

Friday night we went down to Orem to have dinner with the Harper family. Jared and Heather came up for their dad's wedding, and they had a little birthday dinner for Ashton's #1, and Heather's #28 (I think)! We love hanging out with that family...and we can't wait to see more of them in just a few days when we drive down to Cedar City, on our way to Cali! Fun with Jared, Heather, Ashton and Braden. (we are hoping she and Ashton marry one day!)Saturday began bright and early with Geoff waking up to go golfing with one of his best friends, Jeremy. He and his wife came to town from Wisconsin, where Jeremy is currently in Med school. After their fun golf game, we met up at Cafe Rio, with Jeremy, Jamie, Tyson, Jill and Taylor for a yummy lunch, and good conversation. After lunch we headed to Ikea. Saturday night we celebrated Brandon's 29th birthday by suprising him at dinner. We had good food, took fun pictures, Geoff and Brandon wore matching shorts (coincidence?) and then we talked them into buying Rock Band for his birthday, and returning the 2nd guitar he had recieved from Kim. After the purchase at Target we headed to the Ellis home for Rock Band and Birthday cake. Kim made a delicious cherry cake, and homemade vanilla ice cream. Forgetting the candles, Brandon decided he really wanted something to blow out, so he put sticks in the cake, and lit the tips. It didn't work too well. Overall, it was a great night having tons of fun!

I think this was probably a really great weekend for Geoff, because he was able to hang out with not one, not 2, but 4 of his long time best friends...I had a lot of fun with them as well!
