Oh, so you are all wondering about this, huh?
Well then, I will fill you in a little. A few weeks ago, Geoff decided that it was the perfect time in his life to re-create an image that he had when he was a child. This image is of Geoff and his dad when Geoff was a toddler and his dad had a full on mustache! I can't find the picture at the moment, but when I do I will definitely post it.
Oddly enough, I think he first told me that ALL of his friends that went on his camping trip were going to grow their mustaches until their friend Jeremy came to town. I soon realized that this wasn't the case. I especially realized this when we went to lunch the other day and Geoff was the only one with a mustache!!
Oh well, I am letting him fulfill a desire, and it doesn't REALLY bother me. It seems to bother everyone else way more than it does me. Maybe it is because I have almost forgotten that it is there, or perhaps I have just gotten used to it. Although, I don't forget when he goes to kiss me!
So, the image that Geoff wants to create is with him holding Paityn while he has this mustache thing going on. I told him, "PLEASE, once that has been captured, get rid of it forEVER"!!
I really haven't been hard on him about it, which is suprising to myself, and probably really suprising to Geoff. However, I just want him to have it gone by my birthday which is July 23rd.
Hang in there everyone, it will be gone in a few short weeks, it is only a matter of time!

Some men actually look good with a little bit of facial hair. Maybe in a few weeks you won't want him to shave it off. :D
He doesn't look that bad in it. My dad always had a beard or mustache... so I don't mind it at all. Now if he does the goatee or the beard that goes down to his gut... yuck. (I probaly think that because my dad kept his short and neat.)
It sounds nice that he wants to recreate a picture like he and his dad had taken. My husband wanted to do that, and he waited till our son went to the service,(which is what the original pic was), and took the picture in black and white, just like the original. The pics are in a frame together, and it is an awesome picture. It just says - the generations go on--
You should maybe be thankul Joy, his cousin Hyrum is going for a full beard. Check out his blog. You might think you got off lightly.
My husband had a full beard for years when we first married. He cant have one now, it would be grey....But I never liked the tash, only the beard.
I wonder if we could grow facial hair, do you think we would be changing it all the time like our hair styles? We are far more imaginative than the guys I think. Oh the fun we could have dying it to match different outfits...ha!!
that's nice he wants to create a picture from his past and mustaches aren't anything permanent either. In the scheme of things, not a big deal, and you must realize that if you haven't been hard on him about it. I think it looks fine too
Nancy
I think Geoff looks good either way but personally I love clean shaven men.
geoff looks very 'dashing' in that photo , and to me looks a bit like his Uncle Wayne !
