So she is never in a smiling mood when I put her out on the grass, but I still think she looks so darn cute. I love photographing this age, so curious of her surroundings!

The Writer
I enjoy writing, and keeping up to date on the lives of my little kidlets. I am looking for a full-time job but I just don't know what route to take. I am learning to enjoy alone time, but I really miss when Paityn and Beck aren't with me. I have amazing friends, and wonderful family who I could not live without. I still enjoy photography but it has kind of taken a back seat lately. I also have been enjoying my cardio fitness boot camp. It kicks my butt and I'm lovin' it!!
Paityn Joy
She's 4! She is beginning to be much more obedient, and she is just so loveable. She always wants to cuddle. Much different than when she was a baby. She loves her friends, Hello Kitty, Dora, and Strawberry Shortcake. She loves to sing and loves to learn, and she is really enjoying her first year of preschool with Mrs. Luci
Beck Malan
2 years old and talking up a storm. He still loves BALLS. If he is not holding a ball, throwing a ball, kicking a ball, or bouncing a ball, he probably isn't going to be very happy! He has also started a new hobby of tormenting his big sister and her friends, it kinda makes me laugh but it's really not nice!
Milo
Our little pup! Is lonely, and bored most of the time. He puts up with his "siblings", but doesn't enjoy being too close to them. He LOVES to be outside whenever he gets the chance, and still can do tricks, if he gets a treat!

Reading what you wrote about he things she does brings back so many wonderful and funny memories. She is such a doll and will only get cuter!!!! then you will really need to keep an eye on her. Joy you are a great mother. You should be so proud of yourself.

Seriously Joy! Those pictures are professional!! I think they are all so amazing, but I guess it helps when you have such a beautiful model! Looks like you have learned all you need to know about lighting. Love them all...

Joy, these photos are great.
You are making good use of that camera bargain. I like to use the telephoto for portraits, it gives good depth of field.She is so cute.
I must post more of Charlotte on my blog. They grow up so fast, but you will have a wonderful record. Hope you are remembering to take some video too. Wish I had dad a video camera when mine were small.
Joy, she has grown up so much! It seems like it was overnight. I haven't seen her for a while. Last time I saw her she was a baby but she certainly doesn't look like a baby now!
You really do a nice job photographing. I really liked one you took at Geoff's stepbrother's graduation. It was the name of the school on the floor. It caught my attention and I thought it was fitting.
