Candy Update/ 5 pound loss

As of today I have gone almost 8 days without sweets of ANY kind. The goal was to not eat candy, but I have not eaten cake, cookies, ice cream, or any thing similar. I am very proud of myself, and I have proved many of you wrong that voted for me only sticking to this for 7 days!
I have also done well on weight watchers this past week. I started last wednesday counting points, and I think I am doing good. It is hard to lose weight while nursing, and when I am still not working out, but I am trying to eat healthier. For the past several months I couldn't get past a certain pound marker, and as of this morning, I stepped on the scale, and I have lost 5 pounds since last Wed.!!! Yeah, for me and eating healthier. Now, when I am at my weight loss goal I will fill you in on what I weigh, but for now it will just be my little secret.
How is everyone else doing that is dieting/not eating sweets? Fill me in on your progress!

Congratuations on your loss of 5 lbs. You are good. I hear that when you are nursing you burn about 1,000 calories a day. You have motivated me. I am on day 4 with no sweets. Thanks for the push.

that is totally awesome - 5lbs in a week. Great job! Did you think you were deprived or hungry at all? I'm amazed how I don't feel deprived of food or don't feel hungry on Weight Watchers.

I love how easy the website and tracking is too.

I lost another 1 lb this past week and I really need to drink more water and exercise more - maybe I'll do better. But even 1 l pound a week is better then gaining.

I did go to a friend's party with the typical munchies, etc.. and tried to eat more carrots then the unlimited supply of tostito chips which is what I used to do. (I did have a few though).

I haven't been to McDonalds in a month which is really good for me.

Good luck to you in the next week.

Good for you!! Keep up the good work. After having Scott I was having trouble losing weight. But I've been eating healthier and the results are looking good. Last August I started Eating for Life and have lost at least 12lbs and I am down a size. :) I hope that by the end of August I will be at my pre-pregnancy size. I hope, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. please comment back on my blog.

They say that losing weight is 80 percent of what you eat. So even though your not exercising the pounds can come off by eating good. Nursing helped me get rid of my weight after the baby was born. It took about 5 months when Landon was born--to lose more then I weighed.

Well, I was doing good until I started my period again!! That's one thing great about being pregnant and nursing. I wondered why I was craving sweets when I was doing SO good for a week. I told Jared, I think I may start soon, and a couple of hours later, I did! Booooo! So, I haven't totally screwed up, but I've had one cookie or bite of something the past 3 days. :(

Well, I am doing good at curves, going 3 to 5 times a week. I am having more difficulty getting back into my weight watchers diet. All I can do, is keep trying. Any suggestions on what I can do about this terrible sweet tooth.
