Our friends Kade and Karli Hanks invited us to go snowmobiling yesterday, so we planned ahead, got a sitter for Paityn and Milo, and enjoyed the time away. I think being a mommy has made me less of a daredevil if I ever was one! I just kept thinking, "if we die, who is going to care for our precious children"? So, I tried to stay far from the edge of cliffs, and didn't go as fast as I would have gone if no children were in my life. We definitely had some fun though.

We went up American Fork Canyon, and did the Alpine Loop. The only two minor disasters we had were, me driving off the groomed path, for reasons unknown to me (I just wasn't thinking). Geoff had to dig us out, since the others went on ahead and didn't realize we were stuck. Oops! The other disaster was the belt breaking because we forgot to change it before heading out, it was already worn out. And, yes...I was driving that time too, but really it wasn't my fault.
There was SO much snow, this picture doesn't do it justice really, because some signs were only poking out by an inch or two.
After all was said and done, we had a great time, even if we are now sore from holding on so tight!!

Wow, the scenery is beautiful!! I do not like the cold enough to go on a snowmobile again, although it sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. good for you!
You got a sitter? You can use my name if you want. Since I never do my own blog I may as well get mentioned somewhere. :)
