TWO Christmas Parties!!

Every year I look forward to this Christmas party, put on by Carolyn's parents down in Ephraim. We get to be together with Geoff's dad and family, and also get to enjoy great food, fun games, and PRIZES! Maybe that is why I like it so much.
We headed down : Myself, Geof, Paityn, Matt, Anmaree and a few presents, and on our way back we were packed to the roof with gifts. What a fun way to come home!

The past couple of years I have won big prizes, I think the first year I won $60 in dimes, and last year I won $40 in nickels. Unfortunately my guesses were all way off this time, and I even had an extra guess for each thing because I had Paityn make guesses!! Oh, well....we still had fun.

The theme this year was International Christmas, and there was a gift shop that included things from all over the world. I thought they were just things from Wal-Mart that said "made in China" or "made in Africa", but no, they were really from all different places around the world because Carolyn's brother travels for his job.
I wasn't too interested in anything, but I chose a chinese outfit, really from China (I am drawing a blank on the real name of it) I thought it would be a good halloween costume for years to come! I think Geoff chose a kids tshirt and stuffed animal lobster from Maine, and Paityn chose mittens from the Netherlands or some thing like that.

The big winners in our family this year were Anmaree, and Geoff's dad Tom. Unfortunately for Anmaree, her guess got her the big jar of M&M's, not the money. Tom lucked out, he wasn't even there for the end of the party but he took home the grand prize. All of the money people put into the bank to go shopping at the store...probably close to $100!!!

The party was fun, the drive home was exhausting, and we weren't even done for the day. After that party, we went straight to Jeremy and Melisa's house in Lindon for another party. This party was packed, and prizes were given out there as well. This time, we did well. Both Geoff and I had our names drawn and got to pick a prize. Geoff let me pick both, so I got some earrings, made by Melisa, and a little chalkboard for the kitchen! We didn't stay there long because we had to get Paityn home to bed, and we needed some rest as well.
What a fun day we had, and the parties were just beginning for the Christmas season!
