This week I had my cousin Sydney stay with me and spend some time with the family. I tried to entertain her best I could, but I am sure at times she was really bored. She got here on Monday morning. I first picked her up from the airport, headed over to the hospital to see baby Cole and then we went to lunch. Well, before lunch I got in a slight accident in the hospital parking lot with an old couple. We were both backing up, and I turned out to be one lucky lady! I got out immediately to see the damage, but they didn't. 
They asked me if there was any damage and I said, "yes, to your car but not much to mine". They said, "ok, do we need to exchange information?" and I replied, if you want to. The husband said, no its ok, we will just worry about our own damage. Still to this point they never got out of their vehicle! The accident was probably more my fault because they were backed out further than me, but I lucked out, since they didn't really care to exchange info. or even look at the huge dent in the side of their car!!! My car only got a few scratches on the bumper....yeah!!

So on with Sydney's enjoyable trip to Utah. First she has to go to the hospital, then we get in an accident...isn't this starting off well?
Lunch was nice, we ate at Rumbi Hawaiian Grill, then off to Gardner Village we went for a little shopping excursion. We both found some really cute things, and I finally found a stocking for Paityn. It is cute for her now, but she can have for many years to come!! The elves were fun to see, and we took a few pictures of them. After Geoff got home that night, we went downtown to see the lights at Temple Square, and then went to dinner at CPK (one of my favorites). 
Tuesday, we slept in a little since Syd was up at 4:30 am the day before! After getting all ready to go we headed out for some more shopping...this time at the mall. Syd got some christmas shopping done, I tried on some heels, and Paityn just decided to be fussy and have a diaper explosion while we were in Victoria's Secret! I had to change her immediately so I went into a corner and changed her right there in the store on the ground with the stroller semi-hiding us! Then, while we were in GapKids Paityn decided to throw up/spit up all over the ground and herself....so I changed her into another outfit while still in the store...actually while in line. Luckily I had a change of clothes or we would have been putting on a brand new outfit! After finishing up shopping we went to lunch at Cafe Rio. I had to introduce Sydney to the Utah Fav.!
Immediately upon getting our salads, Paityn decided to cry at the top of her lungs, and after getting stairs from many people, almost in tears myself, I had Sydney pack up our food, and on our way home we went!
So, enough details, that was the most fun we had. Wednesday Syd helped me watch the girls, and we made sugar cookies and a gingerbread train, and then today we just hung out until it was time to send her on the plane. I am so glad she was able to visit us, and she was such a great helper. I know not only I will miss her, but Paityn will miss being so spoiled by her!
