Ben and Annice brought their adorable baby boy into the world yesterday at 8:26 am, after Annice had been feeling labor pains for almost 48 hours! I am pretty sure they are naming him Nicholas J, but going to call him Cole. 
He weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz, and was 21 inches long, and was born with a FULL head of hair! So, to make a few connections to his favorite cousin, our Paityn, she was also 7 lbs. 7 oz. and instead of being born at 8:26 am, she was born on 8/26! Also, they were delivered by the same dr, which is Jeffrey Barton. He was my doctor, and was the on call doctor when Annice was had Cole. Just a little more insight into her labor, she was having contractions all day on sunday, after going into the hospital late saturday night and being sent home because nothing was happening. Sunday night we had our family party and I offered to give her a foot and calf massage, because I heard that can help induce labor. Maybe my skills paid off...because only a few hours later, well, at 3 am, Ben and Annice rushed to the hospital and her water broke shortly thereafter at 3:30 am. Then only 5 short hours later Cole was here!!

How excited we all are, and I know Paityn is definitely going to love her new cousin.
For now, please keep him in your prayers because he was put in the ICU after having trouble with his breathing. They have no idea what is wrong, and the Doctor said that this only happens to about 4 babies a month. So, we hope and pray that everything turns out well.
