i think when I have nothing else to blog, I will do a little "what Paityn says" moment.
The other day this was our conversation as we were driving:
me-"Beck already fell asleep, he must be growing, he has been so tired"
paityn- "he's not a flower, he isn't growing"
me- "people grow too, just like flowers"
paityn- (confused) " but only flowers grow"
a few days later....
paityn comes downstairs "Beck is sleeping, I think he is growing"
when Beck woke up Paityn says " mom, I think he's bigger now"
I think she is getting the idea. People grow. Anything living grows. Am I doing a good job as a teacher for my children?

Of course you are! The car can be one of the best classrooms since they are "captive" and you don't have any distractions (at least we didn't before cells & dvd's!)...I love that you're documenting her precious thoughts, and sharing. Miss & love you all! Mom
how adorable. Reminds me of my cousin's 2 year old little girl I saw this weekend. We were at dinner and she tried to get the attention of the people at the next table and said "excuse me, excuse me", Also told the waitress what she wanted before we even knew.
Hope you are recording alot of what the kids say and do. Will be fun to watch when they are older.

I love talking to the boys in the car. It's a great time to explain things. That's a good analogy you used. So cute!!
