A moment in Time

At this very moment, a few things bring peace to my life. Without them, I would be a mess.

This book, I have never read through in it's entirety. Now I am. I am half way through and it's been two weeks. IT is amazing. The words written by prophets are so true. The stories actually relate to ME, and I never clued in on that before. Jesus Christ died for ME, so I could be forgiven of my sins. I love this book with all of my heart. Glad I finally realized its importance.

PRAYER- I have never prayed so hard in my life. I never relied on prayer to get me through. Now, I know that prayer works. It CAN and will bring peace and hope to your life.

And my family, including the two most precious children in my life.

                                                                                    PAITYN JOY
                                                                             BECK MALAN
I know these pictures are from over a year ago, but I just couldn't resist. I love them. I love my memories with them.

For so long I thought what made me happy were things like my reality shows (the Bachelor), Facebook, and shopping. Finally I realize, those things are so frivolous in this world. We are here to create families. To spend time with our families, and to rely on Heavenly Father through his powerful words, and prayer. Glad I finally woke up. Now I know what happiness feels like....just a little bit! I hope in days, in months, in years to come, I am able to spend more time with my eternal family, and not care so much about the things of this world and truly be happy.

It's all true! I hate wasting my time with things that don't matter. It's too easy to get caught up with all those meaningless things. I'm here for you Joy!

I agree hang in there. Good the Book of Mormon is helping you at this time -as it's helped so many others, same with prayer. Things sound like they are getting better for you too.

Just remember none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes - that's just part of life. You have been so kind and nice to me, a stranger, that you must be 100 times kinder and nicer to your family and friends. They are lucky to have you in their lives.

Wow, where did this suddenly come from? Did something happen Joy, or was it just reading BOM that opened you up like this?

I am due to get my Patriarchal Blessing after 37 years. I hope it does something similar for me.

Good for you,. :)

Wonderful perspective Joy. The Lord does bless us with peace when we ask. He is glad you are asking :)
