Together

Even though Geoff and I weren't together ON our anniversary, I think it made it that much better, because I knew we were setting aside time for each other the next day. I wanted it to be special. When I woke up ON our anniversary, Geoff had left a card and some treats, in the card explaining each item he left for me. That day, Paityn went to play group, and Beck and I went on a run to the lake and back. He got out of the stroller at the lake to see the duckies and fishies. He kept growling at the ducks. So cute! Now I ask him what a duck says, and he goes, "raaaa" (haha, not quite)! I loved spending some one on one time with this little guy. He melts me, and I am so thankful that because of Geoff I have him in my life. Once Paityn's play group ended, we went on a few errands, and got Geoff temple clothes. We came home took naps, and then we went to the pool. Now, if Geoff had been around ON our anniversary, we wouldn't have gone to the pool. Not what excites him. So, kinda nice that I got to spend some time in the sun, and in the water on our anniversary. Thanks for working Geoff, =). We came home from swimming and I finished making dinner, and Paityn helped me bake a cake. Lemon Poppyseed cake. A Fowler family favorite! She is a good helper, and loves to help in the kitchen. I am so grateful for her. I am grateful to Geoff for giving me my first baby.
Geoff came home around 7:30 and we had dinner waiting for him. The kids already ate. I waited and ate with him. Of course, both kidlets wanted their daddy. They hadn't seen him in 2 days. I wanted him too!
Finished up dinner. Cleaned up the kitchen. Played as a family. Put kids to bed. Happy Anniversary to us.
The next morning, Saturday the 4th, we woke up early, and dropped the kids off with Lyn so we could go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. We had a wonderful time. It made me remember the day we got married for time and Eternity. I am blessed!
After that, I went to Swiss Days with Lyn while Geoff watched the kids (thanks honey). Around 5pm Anmaree came over to watch the kids and we went to eat at PF Changs downtown SLC, and then to a movie. We saw Switch with Jennifer Aniston. A few fun facts, on our first date we went to the very SAME THEATER, and we saw Hitch (which rhymes with Switch).
We came home about 10 pm. Kids were sleeping. We were tired. Off to bed we went =)
