This is my new thing. My new breakfast of choice. You are thinking, yuck, right? WRONG. I actually really enjoy them, and I think my body enjoys the energy they give me too. I don't think I have needed a nap all week long!
I was reading a blog entry on this site, www.alittlegreat.com by a woman who I think is amazing, and is in extraordinary shape physically. She talks about these smoothies, and she talked me into them. THANK YOU to her!
My mixtures include:
fresh spinach and frozen blueberries
fresh spinach and frozen strawberries, and a banana
actually fresh spinach with any fruit would probably taste good.
- I add some water, and crushed ice...blend away, and there you go. So healthy, so good.
Crazy part, I can't even taste the spinach. YUM!
