Today

Today was the blessing of our sweet nephew Clinton Edwin Lind. He is the son of Becca and Gerry, and brother of Zach and Lauren. It was a great place to be today, but.....at the exact same time....OUR WARD WAS SPLIT =(
I came back to teach my primary class, and found out the big news. Actually, KC Anderson text me with the news, but I didn't think he was serious (since he likes to joke around a TON). The only thing I like about the change is the time. It will start at 11:00 am instead of 1 pm.I am sad to lose our bishop, and SO many ward members.
We have lived in our home for 4 years, this coming April, and this will be the 4th bishop, and I believe, the 5th ward. I don't like it. I was beginning to like our ward, make good friends, and feel comfortable and then this happens, of course!
So, I guess you can't have everything go your way all in one day. At least we were happy about the blessing of Clinton today, and we will just have to get used to everything else.

I can't believe you've had your ward split that many times. I kept trying to understand why they wouldn't just split the other ward and leave ours alone but Levi just said in a smart ass way, "because God's smarter than you are and knows what's best for us better than you do." haha it was funny, yet so true at the same time. We'll have to have lots of girls nights and let Paityn and Claire play a lot, especially in the summer. You guys DO just live right down the street.

Anytime a ward splits is good news...at least for the church. It means the church is growing (or in your case, more Californians moving in?)
Just look at it as an opportunity to make new friends! You still have your old ones :)

Love,
Mom

I am so sad you won't be in our ward anymore. Why don't you just pack up and move across the street :) We will still need to get together.

Mom, the church isn't growing this rapidly, it's just the members are moving around!
Robyn and Stephanie, I am sad to be leaving you guys. At least we do only live like 1/2 block from eachother!!!

And Robyn-if we could sell our house, we would!
