I HEART my Crockpot

Tonight I made (well today) Lasagna, in the crockpot. Delish! I LOVE using my crockpot. It is so easy, most of the time, and everything turns out so yummy. I wish I had started using a crockpot when I was a newly wed, working and going to school. Then I actually would have had food on the table for my husband!
I think I started using it like 2 years ago, and I will never be without my crockpot again. And.... another amazing thing, you MUST have if you cook with a crockpot, are the crockpot LINERS. They are a lifesaver (although I didn't use one today, I ran out). I also love my recipe book, "100 things to do with a crockpot"
Some of my favorite recipes:

Italian Chicken
Taco Soup
Lasagna
Beef Roast with veggies

and I am sure there are others I am forgetting at the moment.

 MMMMM, I HEART my crockpot!

We have church from 2:30-5:30 so every Sunday is definitely a crock pot day... I'd LOVE the Lasagna recipe!

I love my crockpot, and I love the liners, I found the liners the year I had to organize my husbands navy reunion, the liners were time and work saving. No more scrubbing cheese and beans off of the crockpot. Now that I am a widow, the crockpot is so handy because it keeps the quantity(a real problem, when you cook for one) down, and yet have a good soup or casserole. I do love Taco soup in the crockpot. Hmmm, I think I will go make supper, using the crockpot of course.

Sounds yummy! What are some of your easy crockpot recipes? I need something to have ready when the grandchildren come to visit and don't want to spend a lot of time preparing. I'd much rather spend the time playing with them.

ok, so the Lasagna recipe was one I got off the Betty Crocker website. I searched for something "more unique", but I couldn't find anything else that seemed much better. I did add more cheese to the recipe( yum), but it still needed more spices, so if you try it, add a little more in the spice department.
Kathy- I will have to get you two recipes I love- actually I have them on my blog already, but I posted them like two years ago.
They are crockpot enchiladas and the italian chicken. Both so good, and so easy!
Let me find them and I will post them!

I didn't realize you could make lasagna in a crockpot. Probably not as many pots, and stuff to wash either.

They all sound like good recipes - wish I had one, been stuck in the house for 5 days because of all the snow we having gotten and are getting .
