D.O.N.E.

That spells DONE

Geoff is done with his month long, every Saturday and Sunday CNA course. He did amazingly well, and now just has to take the state test to be certified, so he can start working and getting experience before applying to the nursing program.
The last two weekends he was in a nursing home, and....does he have some stories to tell you! IF you don't get a queezy stomach. Ewww. I could never do even 1% of what he has had to deal with, and that's not much in the medical field.
He is a good man. He will be great at whatever he sets his mind out to do.

We will miss him alot, while he is working hard, and going to school. We got just a little taste of what it is like to not EVER see daddy, and it wasn't fun, but we know, as a family, that the outcome will far outweigh all we have to go through.

That's great he finished the course and good luck to him on the state test. I'm with you I couldn't work in the medical field - I really commend nurses and others in the medical field. They do such good work, and when my family members have been in hospitals they always praise the nurses and how caring they are. Both my grandmothers were in nursing homes and I know it takes a special type to work in nursing homes.

By the way the picture of Paityn to the right is adorable (her hair is cute).

You will get a lot of interesting stories with Geoff working as an RN! I remember growing up and the stories my mom and dad could tell... some are not for the squeamish! But you will get a laugh at some of them after the 'ewww' factor is over.

I hope he does really well as an RN. Does he have a particular field he wants? My brother-in-law is going for a heart RN. My dad was a Home Care RN, and my mom, she worked in the OB. She loved the babies.
