MIDWAY in the FALL

Last night Geoff and I were able to escape the norms of our life and enjoy a relaxing night, in an executive suite, at the Homestead Resort in Midway, which is about an 1 1/2 hours from our home. Granny came over and watched the little ones for us.
We had dinner at the restaurant at the resort. I had cajun chicken and lettuce and tomato, Geoff had shrimp quesadillas. We also rented a Redbox, "7 Pounds", soaked in the jacuzzi tub, visited the local gas station, ate some semi-healthy treats, and had a peaceful night sleep with no babies waking us up. In the morning, we got ready and had a photo shoot before heading home. Our last stop was Cafe Rio for lunch, and then we had to face reality once again.
It was short, but so needed, I only wish I had one more night of quality time like that with Geoff.
It was the perfect time of year to visit because I love driving through the beautiful canyons and seeing the vibrant colors of the leaves.

What a romantic thing to do! You need to do that ever once in a while to just "be together"

It looks like you had a wonderful time. I know that I did. Your children are wonderful and well behaved. Lets do it again sometime.

those are awesome pictures, once again! I'm starting to get jealous. I want cute pics with Jared!, sniff, sniff. You both look so good...diets must be working.

About a double stroller, (since you've never called me back to talk about it), ours has the following:

front swivel
light weight, easy to fold!
no cupholders but I know you can buy an attachment to hang on the handle bar.
of course it's double
underneath basket, I like the size of it.
I don't know if it's car seat compatible, but it has a 5 point harness so you can put infants in it. And it reclines to every position in case the baby can't hold their head up.
You can run with it, but it doesn't have big, ole wheels like most "jogger strollers" do.
there are 4 wheels, not 3.

For some reason I don't remember like the Tike Tech, maybe just b/c it's ugly and boxey.

It was kinda pricey too though. Call me if you have more ?'s.
