Fruit or Flowers

You guessed it, we made it to year number 4! The traditional gift for this year is fruit or flowers, so Geoff did a good job of buying me a dozen red roses, and then we went to Costco and stocked up on apples and nectarines. We didn't even know this was the gift, so we did well! The modern gift for this year is, appliances. Well, we have nice appliances already so this would have just wasted our money. We changed things up a bit, and well, we are heading to MAUI. You heard that right. In celebration of 4 years of love, tears, fun, craziness, and all that goes into ones married life, we have decided to fly away to paradise (kids in tow).

I just want to share a couple things I LOVE about the man I married, 4 years ago, on September 3rd 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. At that time I don't think either of us really knew what we were getting ourselves into, because, marriage is a struggle at times, but I know that neither of us would go back and change the decision we made in the temple that day, to be married for time and ALL eternity. We have had a great journey together so far.

Geoff was so easy to fall in LOVE and stay in LOVE with because HE
is easy on the eyes
has a heart of gold and would do anything for me.
is an amazing daddy, and protects our little ones better than anyone, including myself.
has the strongest willpower of anyone I know. If he has a goal he WILL achieve it.
is successful, in life, in business.
never gives up, and he won't let others give up either. Even when I want to, he is there to make things all better.
makes everyone around him happy, with his positive, fun loving attitude

ok, I could go on for days about him, and why I don't deserve him. I will stop now, (before all 5 of my readers gag).

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY ONE AND ONLY, I LOVE YOU!

Happy Anniversary guys.
I am only 34 years ahead of you, and yes it can be a struggle, but worth it. Things that come easy are not the things we value....
Have a great day.

Sounds like you had a great anniversary. You have more than 5 readers :)

Anyway- I loved reading about the description of your husband, since I don't know either of you personally it's nice to learn more about him. You two really sound perfect for each other.

You're going to Maui?!?! When?
Well, happy anniversary! I love friend's anniversaries b/c it makes me think back to your wedding day. Oh wait, we weren't there. BUT, we were there when Geoff was single, and then when he met you, got to hang out a few times while you were engaged, Braden was just born, and then we moved to FL and you made other friends. sniff, sniff. :) Anyway, I love that you love Geoff so that we could become friends!!! You make a very cute couple and a fun couple and your babies are the best part about the two of you. hehe.
