HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

This is my 300th post, wow!
I just wanted to wish my mom, and other mothers that I love, a very happy day today. My mother means so much to me, and has been such a good example for me throughout my life. She is an amazing woman. She has gone through many trials, more than any mom that I know, and I can't believe that she has stayed so strong through it all. I only hope to have the strength that she has. I love her for many reasons. Some of her quirks are definitely personal to her, and now that I am a mother I see some of those coming out in me. One example I will share: My mom has always used coupons, and doesn't like to shop without one. Well, the other night we went to dinner and we were going to use a coupon. We decided to go somewhere else and I said to Geoff, "but I don't have a coupon for that place"! Oh, I miss her, and I wish we were together so I could spoil her on this special day! Perhaps one day she will live within a short drive, and I will be able to see her for Mother's day, and many other days. You are an inspirational mother and wonderful Grandmother. I love you mom!

As for my Mother's Day. Geoff celebrated for me yesterday with a cookie bouquet, cards from each child, and dinner at Archibald's. We also took Paityn to the little petting zoo and enjoyed watching her pet the animals. Then after our little outing, we played games with Geoff's mom and some family to celebrate Lyn being such a great mom and granny.
Today we had Sam's missionary homecoming to start off the day, and now we are relaxing, napping, and I am waiting to be served my dinner! Really...Geoff is cooking as I write. Now that is RARE! Well, I am off to continue relaxing...oh, I love this day!
