It's About Time

We are in California for our Easter vacation. I am sitting in the hotel room, and decided I should probably update my blog. I think this is the longest I have ever gone without updating, crazy! So, I will write, and watch Paityn try to take care of her brother. It is adorable, but almost extra work, because I have to make sure she doesn't hurt him, while she is "helping".
We arrived yesterday, and because my brothers are both living back at home for the time being, my mom offered to put us up in a hotel so that we would come to visit. The drive was a bit chaotic with my "terrible 18 month old" and a brand new "always eating" baby! We left at 8 am, Utah time, and arrived at 7 pm, California time. We stopped to rest in Beaver Utah, Las Vegas, and Baker CA. In Las Vegas, we bought lunch, and found the nearest park (thanks to the GPS) and had a fun time. It was actually a really neat park, we got lucky! The park was huge, and had a waterfall, stream, and a large pond with ducks everywhere.
We spent a couple of hours over at my parents house, and then came to the hotel for a good night sleep. It really was! The kids slept so well. Beck probably slept the best he ever has, I even had to wake him up to eat. Not because I wanted to wake him up, but because I NEEDED him to eat for my sake!
Today we woke up early, and well rested. We got ready, went to the house, and mom took Beck and myself shopping, while Geoff stayed home with Paityn. I guess she was a little terror, getting into everything! We had fun, and I got some new things to make me look a little more put together in the wardrobe department!
Now I am sitting in the room, hoping my friend Danielle comes to visit us. Also hoping that this non-stop screaming coming from baby Beck will soon stop. It is so annoying, and stressful, because I don't know what he needs. I also hope Paityn will nap for a minute, but in reality, it is almost time for her to just go to bed.
Geoff was lucky enough to get out for the night, and go on a date with my mom. She decided it would be fun to go to an Angel baseball game, and take Geoff along. He is probably in heaven, because his two favorite teams are playing eachother. Boston Red Socks vs Anaheim Angels. Go Angels!!!
Well, I better give some attention to the little screamer lying next to me on the bed. I will update more about our lives, the changes that are going on, and more about our vacation in a future blog.
Hope all are having a GOOD FRIDAY, and have a HAPPY EASTER!

Glad you arrived safely and enjoying your stay with Mum & Dad,

Oooo travelling with babies.. I still do not how my parents did it. long car journeys, potty stops Ispy counting red lorrys (trucks) phew!

But that is what makes Mum's (inc you) special.

Now, YOU have a rest too.. have a lovely weekend and hope you get to do an egg tresure hunt!

Happy Easter!! x
ps thank you for your comment on the iphone, O2 are doing a deal and it would be silly to ignore it.

Joy, how neat that Geoff got to go to the Angels game, and I'm sooo glad the Angels won, but I think he probably went to the most emotional game of the whole season, didn't he? WOW! It's so sad what happened to that Angels pitcher, but I know the Angels will have an "extra Angel" in the outfield!

I hope you have a wonderful Easter, and visiting your parents!

I would love to come see you guys! Maybe I'll call your mom to get your number...you may be busy with family since this is such a quick trip though. I've had the same cell # number forever so I'll see if I have your number in their.

Hope you and your family had a nice Easter and are having a nice visit. That's nice of your parents to treat you to a hotel.

I'm amazed you can still find the time to write on your blog with two little ones. Sounds like a long car ride but at least your parents are within a days drive.

My parents told me the first time they drove my sister to visit my Dad's relatives (it's only a 4 hour drive) - she screamed the entire way - they said it was awful, she had colic (sp?).

Enjoy the rest of your visit.
