We finally made it to the doctors office for Paityn's 18 month visit. It was scheduled for Thursday February 26th, but somehow we forgot about it!! Ok, not just somehow we forgot, but I was in the hospital because I had just had the baby. So, with good excuse, we missed her appointment. This past Wednesday March 11th, Paityn and Beck got to see the doctor, what fun!
Paityn is getting to the point where she knows what is going to happen, especially when right as we walk in, there is a child screaming at the top of his lungs for probably 10 minutes. She wouldn't even let me lay her down to change her diaper, she was that scared! Needless to say, she did not have a fun time, especially when they gave her three shots! Beck just had his heel pricked for blood, but that was sad as well. We did take a ton of adorable photos of the unhappy event for memories though!
I didn't get stats on Beck, but he weighed 6 lb 10 oz. last Friday and then when we were there this time he weighed 7 lbs 4 oz. he likes to eat!!!
Paityn's stats at 18 months old:
Weight- 23 lbs 30th percentile
Heights- 31 inches 30th percentile
So, our little girl is on the slim and short side, which is just wonderful, she is growing very proportionally, and the doctor said this is just right!

The pictures are adorable. The 3rd one down is especially priceless. Paityn's look on her face is like she's thinking - "he's crying what do I do?"
I don't know how parents can watch their little kids get shots, needle pricks, etc.. it's bad for the kids but I think it's worse for the parents.

What great pics of the checkup day, Paityn looks like in a couple pictures quite put out with the whole deal. It is hard taking two to the doctor and organizing how to get there is exhausting. The kids look great, healthy, and mom and dad your doing fine,(tired maybe) but it will work out.
