Slow on Blogging....

Ok so Christmas was already two weeks ago, I can't believe it. A year ago my blog would have been updated with Christmas pictures the next day, but I guess my priorities have changed, or I am just a busier mom with a crazy toddler running around! I PROMISE I will get Christmas updated soon, I just need Geoff to help me with the photo part and that might happen by the weekend.

An update on the blanket situation: I have become addicted to sewing, at least sewing these adorable blankets. Since last saturday I have completed three, can you believe it? I will take pictures of these as well, but two are baby gifts so I will most likely only show photos of the one I made for Beck, until I give the others to the babies.
Until next time.....

I love sewing rag quilts!! They are quick and easy! A few years ago I made my 6 kids each one, but I machine embroidered every other square (20 per quilt so 120 embroidered squares!), they turned out great! I did each embroidered square about each of the kids. It took me all year just to do the embroidery, because I was looking for just the right pictures to embroider. If you ever want some embroidred squares please let me know, I would love to do some for you, although you do have Geoff's Aunt Marie who owns her own line of machine embroidery machines and designs. Have fun sewing and by the way LOVE the name Beck Owen Osmond, that is a great name :)
Take care
Kathy

It's funny how our interest change. That is awesome that you have taken up sewing! I'm excited to see the blankets. I need to find something fun like that to do! My problem is I start 100 projects, I just never finish!
