October is finally here, and it is still hot outside. I drove up the canyon to Park City just a few days ago and the leaves were so pretty. It reminded me how much I love this time of the year. I can't wait for the next few months, not because I will be getting larger by the minute, but because I LOVE the holidays. All of them. I am so excited to take Paityn trick-or-treating, and get her all dressed up in her adorable costume. I am excited to eat lots of unhealthy, but yummy food for Thanksgiving. I am excited for Black Friday...yes that is a holiday to me! That is the day after turkey day when all of the shopping happens, and I love it! I am excited for Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. It all begins now, now that the months of holidays are here!
Today though, is just another ordinary day, however, it's THE day when Utah plays Oregon State. I will be there to watch the game with Geoff in our usual seats, and praying that Utah wins. If we do win, we have huge bragging rights, as Oregon is playing exceptionally well. Wish us luck, well the Utah football players that is!

I am right there with ya! I love this time of year. And we are crazy black friday shoppers too! Have fun at the game!
I always loved fall and halloween and everything that went with it. My grandkids are older so no more trick or treat(I think they go out, and do not tell anyone). I still like it, fall and leaves, Christmas shopping, etc. I am especially looking forward to Christmas, because my daughter and her kids will be back from Maryland for two weeks. Her job is in her laptop, so she is coming home. I am getting my cookbooks out now. I am also excited for this fall and the holidays.
Some retail stores call Black Friday Green Friday now because Black Friday sounds so ominous. Anyways, I think it would be a fun day to shop, except I always have to work it, and that usually means getting to work at 4 am. Although, last year, I closed. Talk about not a good time to close in a store.
I've been to Park City once. I actually just wrote my version of that day at my blog because my sister posted one with a pic of Donny Osmond in a pink tuu-tuu. She was talking about her love of acting.
Take care.
Happy Halloween!
I absolutely love black friday as well. I am due the 29th and am still planning(hoping) on going whether I have had the baby and he is at least a week old, or if I haven't had him. Crazy, I know, but once a black friday shopper, always a black friday shopper! What is Paityn going to be for Halloween?
