Ok...so yesterday started out amazing, and then we encountered some twists and turns, but all ended well. Geoff picked Paityn and me up for lunch and we were suprised to see Brandon and Kim at the table when we got there. That was fun!! Then Paityn and I took a nap while Geoff went back to work. After he came home we were going to go swimming, but we didn't. Instead we relaxed at home and then had ice cream cake! I got to make a wish and blow out the candles. Paityn even joined in on the fun...of course...because there was yummy food involved!
Well, Geoff was very dissapointed because he had a gift coming in the mail and it didn't make it by my birthday. However, I just got it, and let me tell you...it is the best gift I could have recieved. What an amazing guy Geoff is, and I really take that for granted.
Do you want to know what it is? Well you are reading it. Still confused?
Lets go back several months...
I had read that you can make your blog into a hardbound book. Then I went on the site, blurb.com, and it looked way too difficult to begin the project of putting my blogging into a book. You pretty much have to go find EVERY picture that you put on your blog posts and put them separately into the blurb project. This is because on your blog the resolution is not high enough to look good in print.
So....now do you know what he got me? You got it, he made the book for me. He took my blogging journal of our family, from day 1 of blogging until about 2 weeks ago and it is now in a hard bound book. It is amazing. I would recommend everyone do it...or have your husband secretly do it for you. Honestly, I cannot put into words how incredible it is.
Now I just have to say, I may not have the perfect husband, but he is pretty darn close. I bet you all wish he was yours! Thank you Geoff for the best present in the entire universe.

awesome gift!! I've been checking out blurb myself.
What an awesome present. You really do have a great hubby! I would love to do that with my blog.
I'm working on my blurb book right now too. What a great gift!
that sounds like a really awesome gift, and you'll enjoy it for years. You'll always have your blog in print - even if the electronic version gets messed up or you stop, etc..
You are very lucky to have such a thoughtful husband.
