I'll do whatever I want to!!
Ok, besides the fact that I have to still take care of my family, I will sort of do whatever I want to. I told Geoff, I wish just for this one day, I could have a break from nursing Paityn...she wasn't up for that though! Next year possibly...ha!
So, being a mom of a youngster, I couldn't sleep in like I really wanted on my special day. Instead, I am at the computer blogging to you all at 9:25 am on my birthday morning. Last year I probably slept in until 1o or so, today I woke up around 7. Actually I think I woke up when I smelled bacon. Geoff walked upstairs and I said, "it smells like bacon". He replied, "well I cooked some ham", then I thought to myself, ok whatever, he doesn't usually eat ham for breakfast, but i'm going back to sleep. A minute later, Milo barks, which is uncommon, and Geoff starts laughing. I look up, and to my suprise a servant is at my bedside with breakfast for ME! I had my very own chef this morning, his name happened to be Brandon Ellis....(sounds like a friend we have). He...and Geoff of course, made me French Toast, BACON, and hash browns, with a side of strawberries, and Orange juice to drink! What a feast. I was full after a few bites, however, I LOVED it.
After breakfast, Paityn needed my attention, so I was up for good! I then went downstairs where flowers were awaiting, as well as a card and a gift certificate for a 1 hour massage. That will be heaven sent when I go!
Don't I just have such a wonderful husband, and a wonderful friend to take so much time to think of me on MY day?

Sounds like you had a wonderful start to your day, except the sleeping part. I hope your day goes well and that you have many more surprises. If I were home I would take you to lunch. Drats. have a wonderful day.

I wish I could be there for your special day! It is a very special day for me too, since 26 years ago I gave birth to my one and only baby girl and have been so grateful ever since!
