It is the first day of summer, and I am so happy. Not that much changes for me when summer hits, but it feels so nice to know that it SHOULD be warm (ok...maybe really hot) for a few months, and that means a lot of time spent at my favorite place...the pool! Since purchasing our pool passes on monday the 9th, we have gone to the pool 6 times already. Hard work, taking the girls to the pool and getting paid for it!!
Paityn has no fear of the water, and crawls as far in as she can before I grab her to save her life! The pool we go to has like a beach entrance so it goes from no water and gradually gets deeper. Fun for little ones. We are going to sign up for swimming lessons as well which I am excited about. We will be doing a parent/infant class where she learns how to blow bubbles and things like that, I think it should be fun. The girls I nanny will be taking their lessons at the same time, or around the same time so we can all be their together.
I was a little scared for swim season to start up this year, as I have not shaped up after having Paityn, but I did buy a new bathing suit, and I am rather pleased at how I look at this point. I purchased a suit from MODBE, and it is really cute and flattering! If you need a suit, this is one place to check out, they have consultants all over who sell them, so you can try them on before buying one. Mine is the green one on the 2nd row, 2nd from right! Oddly enough, I didn't even like that one until I tried it on, and the ones I liked more, I didn't like as much on myself, so you never know!
I did manage to take some pictures, but with my point and shoot camera, so not the best quality, and in the brightest time of day...at least I have something to show you though. Enjoy the beginning of a beautiful summer!

actually that look on her face is just an extremely tired one. I think the sun wears her out!

I agree that first picture of Paityn and her expression is adorable. Looks like a fun pool for kids - especially the beach type entry.
Good website for bathing suit ideas - that looks like a cute one. I usually get mine at Lands End - they have alot of good ones
