Game of Tag

How To Play This Game of Tag: Post these rules on your blog. List: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about yourself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog!
JOYS
1. Me (that was too easy and I just had to!)
2. Paityn Joy (since I don't know any other joys and my baby has joy as a middle name). Ok, I know, but she is my most prized joy, and I love her to pieces. I cannot imagine life without her. The big grin she gives me, the way she growls (this is true), I think she caught on to when I try to pretend scare her and she does it back now. Oh how I love her!
3. My boys- Geoff and Milo. What would I do without them. Milo loves to spoon with me, and really likes when I take him on walks. Geoff, he is my best friend and without him my life wouldn't be complete!
FEARS
1. Death-this includes anyone dying that I know. I don't ever want to die, and I never want to lose anyone close to me.
2. Flying- I HATE going in airplines, however I have probably flown at least 30 round trip flights. But everytime I hold on for dear life, and pray (literally) as we go up in the air that we won't crash!
3. Heights- This probably goes along with why I am scared of flying. I also have reocurring dreams that I have to drive on this really narrow road with 1,000 foot drops straight down on either side, and I hope I really never have to do that.
GOALS
1. Lose 15 more pounds before I get pregnant again, so that maybe this next pregnancy I won't near the 200 lb. mark!
2. Finish our basement by the end of summer, and then put our house on the market
3. Be more positive- about how I veiw myself, as well as how I view others
OBSESSIONS
1. Blogging. Can you tell? I think I blog every other day on average. And...I love reading everyone elses blogs, I even look on blogs that I don't know the people really!
2. Clothes shopping for Paityn. I don't know what it is, but a girl can never have too many outfits. This obsession has been cut down a ton since we are on a budget, luckily I got a lot of shopping done before hand.
3. Photography- I am obsessed with taking pictures in hopes that one day I will be an amazing professional photographer and everyone will want to come to me!
SUPRISING FACTS
1. I have broken 4 bones, my arm 3 times and my leg once. The leg story...lets just say when I was 3 my older brother tipped my over in a shopping cart. After limping around for three days my mom finally took my to the hospital and sure enough my leg was broken. (I must have been a tough little girl).
2. I have probably read less than 10 chapter books all the way through in all my life. I kind of got by easy in school I guess. Those cliff notes really did the trick!
3. I STILL crunch ice constantly. I have been doing this since early in my pregnancy. Ok, is this suprising? Maybe not.
Thats it, now I tag: Becca Lind, Anna Poole, Lindsay Worthington, Matt Osmond, Jamie Joyal

Joy

My late nana(dads mum) had this odd craving for RAW rice whilst pregnant with my late uncle (dads brother),she would fill the cup with rice and scoffed the lot whilst listening to the radio, lol

Joy,
On the chance people will think I was a child-abuser...when you broke your leg (and I'm so surprised this is on your surprises list), you really didn't "noticably" limp around for a couple of days and then when you started to, I thought something was wrong and found out you had a hairline fracture. Even your nurse Grandma Bobbie didn't seem concerned at first. Yes, you were (and still are) one TOUGH little girl!

Love,
Mom

My sister broke an arm and it was about a week before she was taken in. She complained a bit that it hurt, but went about her activities. It was after a week when my Mom realized it was out of character for her to complain a week later that she took her in -- and then felt horrible. I bet you have a high pain tolerance too. (my hubby is like that, he walked around a week on a broken foot before I convinced him to get it looked at, and he had broken it in several places. the doctor was amazed he was walking.)

I really wanted to comment on your photography. I like your work. Alot. Best wishes on it.

(I'm on a message board that has quite a few women who are professional or turning professional photograpers, and they love to talk photography. It's also a close knit online community, which is great. the url is home.ourlittleuniverse.com)

I am a compulsive blog reader too Joy. Mine is rubbish, my daughter's is better, but I find some great ones, like your own, which I love. I dont know how. Everyone seems to have a more interesting life than me.
Oh and the fear of death is mine too.....isnt it horrible...
I also dont like to fly, so maybe there is a link. I hate to hang in the air with no control.
Cant say I walked around with broken limbs though. Like your mum said...a toughie.

I love to read blogs also, I am thinking of starting one(I did start one,but it is lame), as my daughter is moving halfway across the country and I thought that would be a good way, to have fun communicating.
I love to read so I am surprised that you have only read 10 chapter books. I read 10 a month. I will have to remember this tag thing, if I get the guts to start a better blog.

I'm becoming obsessed with blogging too! I really didn't think I'd get in to it! I also like reading other peoples blogs. I don't know you at all but I love reading yours, it's so much fun! I'm happy for anyone who wants to to read mine!

check out "From Far Away" - it's a Japanese comic book that's in English. It'll hold your interest. I have lots of others... then you can say you read books. They don't have chapters. >=)

I'm not scared of death. I'm more scared of not making it to heaven (celestial kingdom.)

I use to not be afraid of planes. Been on them maybe 3 round trips. And am about to go on another one to Utah... and so SCARED about it! I'm afraid of crashing. So maybe I'm afraid of dying too.... I wouldn't see my nephews again, and they are my life...

I love reading your blog. Your daughter is pretty. I love her blue eyes. I think Milo is adorable. (Schnauzers rule... I have a black one.) Would love to met you while I'm in Utah helping my sis before my new niece arrives by stork. If I'm meant to it will happen. =D
