Carseat Update

Thanks everyone for the carseat input. I purchased the Britax Marathon after searching for hours on the internet. I know I could have found one a little cheaper, but this one holds up to 60 lbs, and I have not heard one negative thing about it. I am excited for Paityn to be able to sit up while in the car. She has hated having to lay down in her infant seat, and I even have to push her down so I can buckle her in!!
Luckily I found a great deal. They normally sell for $270.00 at the cheapest, but I purchased a brand new seat for $219, which includes free shipping. Yeah for me, and especially for Paityn!
P.S. Thanks Anna for the suggestion on the Alpha Omega, I considered that one since it was a great deal less in price, but it doesn't work as easy with the Go Go Kids travel system, and I want to get that since we travel a lot!

Way to go on the carseat. I was thinking though...65 pounds is alot. Zach will be seven in 2 weeks and is only 42 pounds. and he is a booster. but hey I guess you won't need a booster...you can just use that carseat. Looks like you saved some too...maybe a new shirt? haha:) As you can tell...budgeting isn't my thing!

I am glad you worked out the budget thing. You won't regret it! Expecially if your other option was a Alpha Omega, They only harness to 40lbs, and have very low top harness slots, so it would never have lasted you as long.

You picked out a good car seat. It is better to get one that can go as long as possible. When my sister was expecting her baby, I helped her pick one out. (I worked at TRU.)
Make sure you fill out the warranty card so they can inform you of any recalls. Britax has had a few... but so had all the other brands. Britax is one of the best brands out there.
