I really cannot believe that this year for Mother's Day, I will actually be one of those women getting spoiled because they are a mother! I know that Paityn has some special tricks up her sleeve!
Last year at this time I had just graduated from the University of Utah with a big pregnant belly,
and I did not realize how special a day this would be this year. I am amazed at the love I have for my daughter, and the happiness that we share on a daily basis.
I cannot imagine my life, and our family without her.
Things that make me so happy to be a mommy for the first time this mother's day:
-Paityn's HUGE grin(with her little dimples) every time I walk into the room
-Her need and want for me, and only me when she is most sad
-seeing her learn new things
-watching her grow into a little girl
-Holding her in my arms when she wants to be cuddled
-Looking at her daddy when the two of them interact
-Knowing that we will share a special bond for Eternity
-All of the memories that lye (?) ahead
Paityn, I am so happy to be able to celebrate this day with you, because without you I wouldn't be a mommy. I love you sweetheart, with ALL of my heart!

I hope you had a great first Mothers Day.
I don't have any kids myself but I'm sure they are a joy to have (well maybe before they turn 13). I have enough cousins who have kids and friends who have kids and babysit alot. They are all adorable.
One time that sticks out is what a friend's little boy told me when he was about 5 years old. I sent him a postcard from a trip and made a point to tell him I only sent him a postcard, not his parents and he responded "that's because you love me" - it was so sweet.
Again, hope you had a great first Mother's day - you are lucky to have such a great family - especially all the role models of Mothers.
I cooked dinner for my Mom today and did get her chocolates when I was in Paris. Hope everyone had a nice one.
