Snow, Snow, and SNOW!!

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning, that is for sure. Ok, not so much a wonderland, more like too much snow to handle. We were supposed to have Cole's baby blessing today, but they canceled that when everyone started calling and saying they wouldn't be able to drive in the snow. We were going to attempt it with our 4-wheel drive, but even then it would have been scary. We decided to head over to our church, about 2 blocks away, and it was even hard getting there and finding the parking lot entrance!!
I have never seen so much snow other than in the mountains. Probably about 2 feet piled up around our house!! After church was canceled after an hour, we somehow managed to drive over to Lyn and Jerry's for some breakfast and a game of Ticket to Ride. Luckily we made it, unlike many cars we saw on sides of roads, even a big jeep was struggling up a hill. We had fun with them for a couple hours and then came home.
Upon our return, our neighbors were building snow people so we went over to help them and play in the snow.
Here are a few pictures of the fun we had in the snow. Of course, we left Paityn inside to nap so she wouldn't get cold.

P.S. The one picture of me with the little girl, that is my neighbor Gennovah, isn't she cute?
And the blizzard just started back up again!!!

Can you believe all this!? I don't remember a winter like this in a long time. Looks like you guys had fun! No going out to play for us, sick kids :( And those snow people are enormous!

How fun! We were sad to not see everyone today, but were happy the blessing was posponed so we can actually make it. We thought we we're going to miss it when it took us over 20 minutes to drive from our house in Provo to Lindon...CRAZY weather!

I guess I shouldn't tell you it's 80 degrees here today. We love Ticket to Ride! Have you tried playing on line yet? It's so much faster and easier. I love the last picture of Milo!

boy, do I know how your feel. I live in the midwest, and this week alone, we have had snow, sleet, rain thunder and lightning. We are now (tuesday night) waiting for another huge snow storm. I love to watch it snow, but I had enough snow. good luck to you in your share of the tons of snow.

I have never heard of the game Ticket to Ride. Is it a board game?
