I cannot believe that Paityn is growing out of the newborn stage so quickly. It is so fun to see her grow and learn new things but it is also so sad that she is growing up too fast for my liking. We go in for her 6 month check-up on Thursday and I bet she is around the 16 lb. mark! I almost can't carry her in her carseat anymore, and I am boxing away clothes for the second time since her birth. She can still fit into 3-6 month in some things, but she is definitely moving on to the 6-9 month clothing comfortably.
At this point she is learning a lot of new things. Right now she can:
-Grab everything and hold onto it
-sit up with VERY poor posture
-eat cereal, fruits and veggies
-roll over and over and over
-attempt to put her binky (pacifier) in her mouth
-sleep through the night completely (7:30 pm-7:30 am)
-giggle
-just be so darn cute, smiley, and loveable!!

It was SO fun having you and your mommy here, even if your visit was too short :(
I loved hearing you coo every morning in your borrowed crib and then realize you went back to sleep. What lucky parents you have! Plus, I loved having you just lay next to me in bed after Mommy got you up and watch you smile and play. I will miss you SO much and am thankful your mommy is diligent at keeping us posted in her blog.

Happy 6 months! She certainly has a sparkle in her eyes. She is such a pretty girl, and she will be on the move now.

They do grow so fast, just enjoy her while she is little because soon she will be grown and on her own. It really doesn't take long. She is darling and I am amazed at all she can do. Love you all.
Yay Paityn! Sounds like she is doing so well! I miss having a little newborn, and am excited to have on again soon, but I LOVED LOVED LOVED the 6 month to 18 month stage. They just seem to do so many new things during that time and their little personalities develop and show even more.
enjoy and get out that video camera. It goes so fast and believe it or not you will forget!
