So...Becca tagged me and I guess I will try to think of some interesting facts about myself.
1. I am addicted to crunching ice...I have been a lover of ice for many many years, but I became overly addicted during my pregnancy and I realized it was because I was anemic during this time, which for some reason, ice crunching is a thing anemic people do. I thought that once I was no longer pregnant, the obsession with crunching would go away but to this day it has not...and actually I am crunching ice at this very moment. Maybe one day this will go away...for Geoff's sake, and the sake of others that have to listen to me crunch...but I actually really enjoy it!
2. I was in a sorority in college for two years. I have never been good around a large group of girls, I usually like to just be around a few good friends rather than lots of girls (maybe this is why I was released as a young womens leader in our church). Well, I liked aspects of the sorority, like all of the events we did, including dinners every monday night at the Delta Gamma House...but I never really clicked with alot of the girls, and I have only kept in touch with a handful. I think I am just better off in small settings. I have tried to make an effort to become comfortable with a large group of girls, but even as an adult I still cannot do it!!
3. I am an addictive shopper...man this addictive thing is getting scary..first ice..then shopping. Being a nanny I have to keep the girls entertained and one way I do this is by going to the mall with them, which isn't the best thing for my checkbook!! I always have an excuse, it used to be that I always needed something new to wear, then I got married, bought a home, and it turned into needing to decorate my house. That lasted up until the moment I got pregnant, and now I continuously shop for Paityn, even when she has EVERYTHING she needs! Maybe I should become a personal shopper, because it isn't the fact that I want to buy things for me, but I just like to shop. Last Christmas I was able to do all of the shopping for the girls I nanny. That was fun because I got to go on a shopping spree...over 1,000 dollars spent, and it wasn't even my money!! I really should look into the personal shopping profession!
4. I absolutely love reality television. Yes, I am 25 and I watch shows that teenagers watch..when does that ever end?...or is it just me? I LOVE, the hills, The Real World, Laguna Beach, Newport Harbor, Runs House (those are all on MTV) as well as; The Bachelor, The Biggest Loser, The Apprentice, Amazing Race, Hogan Knows Best...and I am sure I have left out just a few. However, some of the shows that someone gets kicked off at the end of the night, including Survivor and Biggest Loser...I always cheat, and don't watch most of the show, I just go straight to the end of the recording and see who got kicked off! This is just a recent habit, maybe because I don't have as much time on my hands, but I still want to see the results.
5. I have always wanted, well for the last several years, to become a professional photographer, specializing in child photographs. I love to take pictures, but Geoff took over this passion of mine when he bought his very own very expensive camera. I feel that my hobby has been put on the back burner while Geoff takes over in this department. Maybe one day we can open our very own studio and make money at this passion of ours.
6. I am very gullible...I shouldn't admit this, but I am. I thought those days had passed after my teenage years but nope I still am, and I realized this when my little brother came into town a few weeks ago for Paityn's baby blessing. Don't laugh too much but I will tell you a couple stories. First story: Adam (my younger brother) purchased a pet hedgehog, this is true, and I was asking about it when he was visiting me. I think I asked it they could hurt you, and he said yes, "they can spit acid up to 8 feet out of some glands on the sides of their bodies". Well, not knowing much about hedgehogs, and remembering that sonic the hedgehog from video games did some crazy stuff, I believed him. I had no reason to think he would be teasing me. So.. I guess he is the best liar ever. The next day at dinner with my family, Adam told them that I thought hedgehogs spit acid, (up to this point I still didn't know it was a lie) and everyone began laughing, I guess everyone else knew this couldn't be true.. everyone but me!!! ok, onto the 2nd story: Again, Adam told me that I shouldn't buy any Baby Einstein videos because "they" have done a study on Baby Einstein Videos and it has been proven that they actually decrease the intelligence and creativity levels in children. He said it is because it doesn't allow children to use their brains on their own, but to be influenced by something else. Now....I really don't know if this is true or not, but I was telling this to Geoff after he said we should buy some for Paityn, and I began laughing at the fact that I probably believed my brother once again when he is most likely pulling my chain. Crazy how I can be influenced into believing something, and for the past few weeks I have steered clear of buying any baby Einstein videos for paityn!!!
ok...so I think everyone that I care about looking at their blogs has already been tagged, so I am not tagging anyone at this moment!!

Joy-
Wow! I have found that you and I are very similar...no wonder I got along so well with Geoff...I don't know if he even told you who I am but my husband Brad and I used to work with him in Provo. Make sure he tells you the story of Kermie, it's a classic. I also have a problem with crunching ice and I LOVE all those reality shows, can't wait for the Hills tonight!
