Chicago here we come!!!

Tomorrow we leave to Chicago in route to HARPO studios...yes, that means we get to meet Oprah Winfrey. I am extremely excited for this once in a lifetime opportunity. So, I guess it does pay off to have married into the Osmond family.
We will be flying via a chartered plane, all first class seating, with the entire Osmond family. Yes, everyone.... that means, fromt the tiniest baby(and no, Paityn is not the youngest) to the oldest Uncle! It will be a crazy but fun flight.
I don't really know what will be going on once we land, other than, we head right to the studio to meet Oprah and have a rehearsal of the show that will be taping the following morning (thurs.)
The show is to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Osmonds, and I think will also give a tribute to George and Olive...the parents who started it all.
If you haven't heard...Grandpa George died this morning and the trip was almost called off, but I think everyone realized that he probably would have wanted everyone together, especially at this sad time. He is in a better place now, with his wife who died 3 1/2 years ago. I only wish he had lived long enough that Paityn could have met her Great Grandpa Osmond.
So, I write this not only to tell you of the exciting adventure that awaits, and the sad passing of a beloved Grandfather...but to tell you to WATCH US ON OPRAH THIS FRIDAY...yes...the day after the taping, which is Friday November 9th.
