it's my birthday...

I can do what I want to. Really, I did everything I wanted to do, well....besides taking a trip to Bora Bora.
I got to go on a almost 5 mile run, by myself around the lake, then I came home, got ready and went shopping with my Grandma. We went to Salt Lake Running Co. and I got a new pair of shoes, an outfit, and a water bottle waist band thing. I thought my day would have been complete right there. Very satisfying. Then Grandma says, where else do you want to go? We stopped by Rod Works and I got a table runner that matches perfectly with my new wall color. Then we went to get a cupcake at the Sweet Tooth Fairy (not my fav, but it was ok). I got a cookie dough cupcake. I then went and got free chicken soft tacos at Del Taco, and then we were off to Target. Of course, a great day couldn't be complete without a trip to Target, right? After Target was Radio Shak for new home phones.
Are you getting tired of hearing about my fun-filled, beyond spoiled day? So was I at that point, so I came home to take a nap. The kids were napping too. Oh...the kids. Geoff watched them all day while I did my thing. After naps, Granny came to get the kids, and off we, the adults went, to dinner. Epic was the restaurant of choice. Yum. Delish. Scrumptious. If you haven't gone there, and need a nice dinner option, try it. This is year #2 of celebrating at this establishment. I opened cards from Grandma, Geoff and the kiddos. Geoff got me a new ipod shuffle. It's turquoise. I like it. Now, Geoff has to fill it with music I like, and I will be set.
Dinner ended, and we still needed to fill some time, so what did we do? Well, if you know me, then you know that we went shopping some more. We took Geoff to the scrub store, and Grandma spoiled him with 3 pairs of new scrubs. One pair, U of U. He was a happy man.
Nordstrom was our next stop. I tried on some clothing, while Geoff and Grandma had a nice visit. I got a new shirt, a dress, a necklace, tights, and Clinique mascara.
My spoiling was now complete.
On our drive home we stopped to get a sodee, which is a big thing for me right now, because I have not been drinking soda at all. Trying to get healthy for the race. We also got a Red Box (a movie rental). We rented Invictus. Now we are about to watch the movie, and the kids are on their way home.
Before we came home, we were driving by the temple and I wanted to stop and walk around, SO, that's what we did.
My day is now complete, well....it will be after I get hugs and kisses from my two little munchkins.

Happy Birthday to me. Thank you Grandma. Thank you Geoff. You made my day.
