The Surgery

Just getting to St. Marks Outpatient Surgery Center.  6:45 am. Not so bad......yet!
In the waiting area, before surgery.

In the gown. I LOVE it!

Beck in all his glory. Love the CHUB!
This is about how Beck was the entire time. He really wanted his milk, and unfortunately couldn't have anything until AFTER surgery.

Do you see those HUGE tears streaming down his face?
Being whisked away to surgery by the anesthesiologist. Beck isn't so sure about this part.

At this point I went back into the waiting area for about 15 minutes, if that, and then I went back in when he was done. The Dr. came and talked to me, and then they brought in my little Beckster! He was VERY sad. They said that the anesthesia will cause him to be groggy, because he doesn't know what to think about the weird feeling.
We are home now, and all is well. He is running around and happy as can be.

I am glad that everything went well, he is adorable, especially in that little gown, and the tears would break your heart. How is mom and dad?

Did you mention sometime earlier about this coming up and I missed/forgot about it? Then there he is at the flower garden looking good. I guess it wasn't super serious stuff. Looks like all is well now?
Even though he is in distress here, he still is so cute. He looks like his daddy. I love reading your blog. It takes me back to when my kids were little. We had too many emergency room/hospital stays. Well, I guess when you consider I have 5 kids, it really wasn't that much after all. They are stressful, though.

Have a great day today!

Glad it all went well, but poor little thing in the photos when he was crying. I'm sure those 15 minutes were the longest 15 minutes you have ever gone through.

I'm glad he's ok. Why did he need surgery may I ask? Talk about scary.

His surgery was to put tubes in his ears, because he was having so many ear infections. This helps with the drainage, and hopefully not so many future ear infections!
