Paityn can't get enough of her daddy these days. She wants nothing from her mom, and doesn't care when I leave. BUT....when daddy leaves, it is a different story. She will stall him with kisses, one after another, saying, "I need a kiss" as he is walking out the door and until his car has driven away.
I ask her if she needs something, and lucky for me, she doesn't want my help. She always says, "No, daddy do it", "Daddy change me", Daddy get my juice". ITS ALL ABOUT HER DADDY.
I asked her for a kiss this morning, and I got nothing, but a split second later, DADDY asked the same thing, and, of course, he was smothered with kisses!
I know Geoff loves it, and MAYBE I will get the same treatment when Beck gets a little older. I can only hope!
on a different note: Paityn's new phrase, "oh my heck". NOT the best thing she could be saying, but not the worst. If I tell her not to say it (which I do), I am being a hypocrite, but I just don't like it coming from my 2 year old's mouth!
Oh, my little ones are just growing up too quickly for my liking.

She's blessed to have a such a loving Daddy and maybe wants more attention from him since she expects it from you! I too think they are growing up too quickly :(

I guess it's the age. I just babysat for a 20 month old on Sunday and when her parents returned her Mom walked in and she really didn't react, just stood there, but when Daddy walked in she got all excited and ran up to him.
Her Mom said she's been doing that recently.
