HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY

MY BABY IS ONE, that can't be!

BECK, you are SO loved, by everyone who knows you. You just have a way of melting our hearts. Maybe because you were born, and went straight to the NICU, I just feel an extra special bond with you, because I didn't know if we were going to lose you. You are here, you are healthy, and you are the sweetest one year old in the world. You have come a long way, no more allergies, no more crying.

Some things I LOVE about you, that make you one of a kind.

You love to STARE at NEW FACES.
You can hold a large BALL with ONE HAND, and THROW it.
You can't walk just yet, but you can stand from a knees on the floor position, without using your hands.
You can keep up with the BIG KIDS.
You like to play with our dog Milo.
You have a game you play with daddy, where you go up to him, look right into his FACE, and once he looks at you, you HURRY and crawl away, and have him CHASE you.
You have HUGE MITS (hands)
You LOVE your BIG sister, and follow her everywhere. She has fun making you GIGGLE, and you obviously love it. 
You are a PICKY eater. You don't like your vegetables. In fact, I don't think you have ever swallowed a green VEGETABLE!!
You have 7 TEETH, and you aren't afraid to use them. To BITE, to EAT, to intimidate!

here are your stats:
Height: 29.5 inches, 50th percentile
Weight: 20.6 lbs., 20th percentile
Head:  10th percentile

and on a sad note, you had your second ear infection in 3 weeks. Actually we don't think your first ear infection went away with the antibiotics. You not only had to get your 3 immunizations at your check-up, but you had to get a antibiotic shot for the ear infection. AND, we went back today for a follow up on your ears, and they were still really infected, and you had to get ANOTHER shot.
(Paityn was sad for you, and told daddy that you got a shot. She definitely loves you and is your best friend.)
