Sugar Sugar

This year I decided to get a little into the baking spirit, and Paityn joined me for the event. I made gingerbread cookies from scratch(thanks Martha Stewart), as well as pumpkin rolls, and Almond Rocha(thanks mom). Paityn made sugar cookies. My mom was with me every step of the way for the pumpkin roll and almond rocha, but I made the amazing gingerbread men all by myself. I am pretty proud of the end result!
here is Paityn sharing her talents:

The baking began on December 17th with the making of the dough...and I didn't stop baking until Christmas eve!

Looks like Paityn was a big help. Great photos. I remember when we made cookies when we were little, I would put tons of icing on the cookies we could eat - more icing then cookie.
