I took the kids to the doctor yesterday for their well-checks and we got their 6 month and 2 year stats done. Paityn also got her last immunization until she goes to kindergarten, yeah!!! Beck had 3 immunizations, and just like his big sister, he doesn't really enjoy the needles, but who does?
Paityn:
height: 32 inches, 10th percentile
weight: 25.8 pounds, 40th percentile
head: 18.7 inches, 50th percentile
At TWO they usually can figure out about what height they will be as an adult, they just double their height, so she should be 64 inches, which is 5'4". I am thinking that is a good height for a girl. I am about that height. Although, I don't know how accurate her height measurement was because they just had her stand and took a tape measure. I think they should have laid her down, so I might do it myself one of these days for accuracy.
Beck:
height: 26 inches, 40th percentile
weight: 17.18 lbs, 50th percentile
head: 16.5 inches, 10th percentile
I was surprised with his weight percentage being so average, because everyone always comments how big and chubby he is. Well, to all you who think I have a fat baby, he is just average, so there!!!
I also talked to the doctor more about Beck and his allergies, and he is for sure allergic to dairy, so for the next 6 months he will continue on the alimentum formula, hooray! (not)
He said I could give him oatmeal, as long as it did not contain dairy or soy products, so I found that the Beechnut brand doesn't contain those ingredients and I started him on it last night. He ate at 7:30, went to sleep at 7:45, and didn't wake up until 3:30!!!!!! I hope this sleeping pattern continues because I love it. I would love it even more if he slept longer, but I will take what I can get for now.
I also asked the doctor if he had any samples of the formula and he gave me all the samples they had, which is about $80/ worth of product. He said to call back often, and when they have samples in I can come get all that they have. This should help us out, and cut back on the $200 it costs a month to feed our little guy!!!
I am so glad I have such healthy children (despite Beck's allergy, which to me is minor in comparison to some children's health conditions), and I am thankful for a doctor that does such an amazing job with them.

That's good your kids are doing so well.
My friend's little boy, who is 3 years old is allergic to alot of things (although he's growing out of some allergies). She said you learn to read every ingredient on food. She also told me that sometimes a food item maybe ok, but then the manufacturer will change the ingredients so she reads it each time just in case.
That's lucky you are able to get the samples of formula from your doctor.
