Last week I took the kids to church while Geoff was out of town on business. Paityn went to nursery, and enjoyed this time, I think. Later that day, or maybe a few days later, I see her rolling her arms round and round each other, and I asked her if she learned that at church. She said yes, but I didn't know if she really did, because, after all, she is only 1 still and says yes and no to everything. I started singing the song "Do as I'm doing, follow follow me, do as I'm doing, follow follow me" and as I am singing this, she begins to do the actions that she had done earlier on.
Today I asked our friend who was in there that day if they taught the kids that song, and sure enough they did.
Paityn is so cute, and it is so fun to see her learn new things like this. She kept saying "again" so that I would sing the song again, and she could show off her new moves! I love this girl!!!

That's so cute!!! I serve as a nursery assistant in my ward which I love. We have quite a few of Paityn's age & it's lovely when they start to learn the songs.

Oh. I love her too. I miss her already.
What a cute and adorable story. I hope you have a camcorder and getting lots of footage of both your children. My Mom always says she wishes she got more audio recordings of me and my siblings when we were little (we had movies but no sound back then)
