It's June

I can't believe how fast time is going by. Beck is growing up too quickly, as is Paityn.
This past weekend we were lucky enough to have a date night while Granny watched the kidlets. Granny was holding Beck and made a little sniffle and Beck giggled, so she tried it again, and sure enough, he continued to giggle. Well, the next day we wanted to see this for ourselves, so Geoff decided rather than sniffle, he would snort. Every time Geoff would snort, Beck would giggle. It was the CUTEST thing, and I wish we had a video camera out at that very moment. We did get a few pictures of it, and he has a huge grin on his face! I am hoping he will do it again, so we can get it on video.
As Beck grows, so does our love for him. He is becoming more happy each day, and I hope the crying soon wears off, so we can see more of his HAPPY self!

As Paityn grows, she continues to torchure us with this stage of "before the terrible two's". She is constantly doing what she is told not to do. She climbs on and in EVERYTHING. I tell her to stay right by me, she runs away, I tell her to eat her food, she throws it, I tell her to be nice to Beck, she slaps him. The list could go on and on...
I also think she is crying out for attention, because she sees Beck getting so much of it. She won't walk down the stairs anymore, she wants me to carry her down. She throws a a tantrum if I don't! Possibly because I am always carrying Beck down the stairs, I don't know.
When will this horrid tantrum throwing, rule defying period be over?
Well, no matter what, we do love her so much. Despite all of the frustration, she does have a cute little personality that makes us melt, and I just need to cherish the happy moments with her.

You have wonderful insight. Paityn is a wonderful little girl, so curious and so busy. She is exploring and checking things out, both physical, like opening every drawer in the house and emotional, like what can I get away with now. I love her so much and she will grow out of this stage and realize she is the most precious thing that happened to us all. athen she will be content.

It's Terrific Two's. (If you are interested, looking into love and logic and dealing with two year olds. My first younger sister used it, and it worked wonders. If you are interested go here: http://www.loveandlogic.com/ Or email me at dog_monday@hotmail.com. My parents are/where instructors so I got lots of info I will be happy to give to you for free.)
And since I gave an email, please don't approve this comment to show up on your blog. Thank you in advance.
