2 Month Check-Up

Beck had his 2 month check up, on Monday April 27th. All went well. These are his stats:
Weight:
Height:
Head circumference:
(I will add those later, I don't remember right now!)
I discussed with the doctor some concerns, mainly with his constant crying. He told me it could be colic or acid reflux. I thought acid reflux, just because, so he wrote a prescription for Prevacid. (this prescription would come to haunt us later). The DR told me to call him in a week, because the medicine takes that long to kick in. Well, a week went by, and nothing seemed to change, so he took him off of that medication and prescribed him something for colic, which is much less worrisome, but still causes a stressed out parent, and noisy baby!
He still cries, and I still give him his colic medicine. He does cry less frequently and for a shorter duration of time, so, maybe it is working. We will never know, because until he stops crying for like a week straight, I will continue with this medicine.
(as for the prevacid: because it was prescribed, even though he was never diagnosed with acid reflux, we were denied new insurance coverage on Beck. We have to wait 3 months to re-apply for new insurance. We do have insurance, we just wanted to switch providers because we are paying an arm, a leg, AND both feet for BlueCross)
Paityn was in on the action, and got very worried when they gave brother his shots. When we entered the doctors office she started saying no, no, because I think it has finally clicked in her mind that the doctors office=ouchies. Luckily it was just a visit for Beck, but I am nervous for the next time she has to be in the hot seat!

I am sorry to hear about your problems with Beck, I am sure he will get better. He will be in my prayers, and what a great pic, of Paityn.
Good luck with the insurance, I am fighting our insurance about my husband cancer doctor. Dr. is great but will not pay for the doctor.

I do love your new page, especially the heading. The picture is so very interesting, with some real charactor and flair.
