1 Month

I can't believe Beck is already 4 weeks old, how does time go by so quickly? It seems that just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital.
He is doing great, in the health department that is. In the sleep department, well that is a different story. He does sleep, but mostly during the day, and then at night he only wants to sleep if he is next to me. I love it, but I also wish he would sleep for a few hours in his crib, well, the bassinet next to our bed. I think he has an attachment deal, and just wants to be in moms arms at all hours of the day, and night! Don't get me wrong, I love that he loves to be with me, and loves to cuddle, but I wish once in a while he would love being in his daddy's arms.
He also cries a lot. More than Paityn did at least, from what I remember. I just hope it doesn't last. It is hard to just let him cry, but it is also hard to not get anything done just so he can be held and be happy.
It is so fun to see Paityn interact with her little baby brother. She LOVES him, and I hope that never changes. She always wants to be right next to him, loves to kiss him, and worries when he cries. This morning, he was crying so much, she plugged her ears, I had to laugh!
To celebrate his first month of life, we bought a double stroller. Ok, not really in celebration, but more out of necessity. I can't wait until it gets warmer so we can try it out. As I was out to buy the stroller, I decided at the last minute to get a newborn picture of the little guy. They turned out very cute, but I can't put them on here because we didn't get the digital copyright, so unless you know me, and come to our home, you won't see them, sorry!

I can't believe he's already a month old - that went by quick (well at least for the ones reading your blog - I'm sure up at all hours of the night haven't gone by fast)

That sounds very sweet of Paityn always wanting to be next to him and kiss him. Funny story about her covering her ears.

When I was babysitting the 8 month old I yawned in front of her and she started with that face and then just started crying - I guess she didn't like my yawn (or as someone at work said maybe she was upset because I seemed bored with her :)
