Rag Blankets

I have a new blog to show off my rag blankets. I have made a couple more since this, but here is the start of them. Two are for gifts, and one is for baby Beck. I haven't given the gift blankets to the new babies just yet, so if their mommies see them, well, surprise!!
Enjoy.
If you want to purchase one let me know. I just thought it would be a good way to make a little extra money now that I am officially a stay-at-home mommy!

Way too cute! I love them. I was at the fabric store the other day and felt like getting crafty until I realized I have 2 children and no time right now! I am so proud of you. They are so awesome! How much do you charge for them?

Well arent you the clever one Joy.
I cant sew to save my life, i always tell people when buttoms fall off, we throw the items away.
My mum was brilliant, made her own evening gowns ,the works.
Me I admire anyone who can do this stuff.
I hope you get lots of orders and I am sure Beck will love his.

Those are great blankets - I can't believe you did so many - you are really talented.

Would you consider making a blanket for someone you don't know? My cousin just had a baby and this would be a great present. With paypal you wouldn't even have to reveal your personal information like an address or anything.

If not I totally understand -both for the privacy issue and with a new baby coming I'm sure you don't want to be overwhelmed either.

Robyn- $50 for a baby blanket, 80 for adult size
Nancy- I would make one for anyone, so of course. On my quilt blog I have an email address you can email me and we can discuss what you would like!

I love those blankets, those babys are lucky. I am inspired to make(maybe)a blanket for my couch, in the style of rag blankets. I do crafts but not too much sewing, but I love those rag blankets. You did a beautiful job. Good Luck with selling the blankets.

Those are so cute! The next baby gift I purchase will certainly be one of your blankets. What a great keepsake it will make.

Really good job. Congratulations!
