I had to document this day, because Paityn has only been awake for 2 hours and has already climbed on, and in, numerous household items. These include, in her laundry basket, on the filing cabinet door handle, on the bathroom scale, in her dolly cradle, in milos bed. Not that all of these are too dangerous, but this is just the beginning, I can feel it! Oh, and I just thought she was being a little too quiet, and where did I find her? In our closet, in our laundry basket, sorting the clothes around her!I did think it was so cute when she was in her dolly cradle though, so I had to take a few photos to capture the moment.
Have I ever told you about her belly button obsession? Well, I will do that in this blog as well.
Paityn LOVES to suck her thumb, it brings her comfort. But only when she is sticking a finger from the opposite hand in her belly button at the same time! What a crazy habit she has made. When she can't get to her belly button because of clothing covering it, she gets quite upset. I guess anything to bring a baby comfort...I just hope she doesn't need to do it when she is 5 or 25!
I also added pictures from my trip to Cali of my brothers and dad with paityn. She loved being spoiled by them!

That is so hilarious about her thumb sucking ritual! Don't worry, she'll grow out of it one day, but for now, it's ADORABLE! I was laughing pretty hard! Hope you are feeling well...you look great!
Well, Paityn sure is original, I do not believe I have heard of the thumb and bellybutton habit. How adorable, this just means she walks her own path. I love it.!

What cute photos - and cute you have found her in all those interesting places.
I was just visiting relatives this past weekend and saw my cousin who has an 8 month old little girl. She's not walking but crawls around and gets into everything.
Cute about her thumb sucking and putting her finger in her bellybutton. It's cute what makes babies and little ones comfortable. My cousin's little baby will cry in the car until my cousin puts her hand back to her and the baby grabs her hand and holds it until she falls asleep. It won't work for anyone else though.
What a doll. Paityn is such a delight to have around. As I have said before, they grow up so fast. she sure does some cute things. I know she keeps you on your toes trying to keep up with her. Whew!! I love it.
Paityn has the brightest eyes, you can just tell she's a happy child. One of my friends baby would suck his thumb and twirl his hair at the same time, but I think that's more common. Paityn is an original!
She is so cute! Don't you just love the developing personality?
