I cannot believe I have gone this long without even 1 piece of candy! I used to go maybe 3 days at a time, but going on 17 days, that is impressive for me. And, to add to it, I have not eaten chocolate, cake or ice cream for the same amount of time. The ONLY sweets I have eaten are the 100 calorie snack packs, a few times, and 1 cookie, because Anmaree wanted me to try out her famous peanut butter and jelly recipe! It is actually not as hard as I thought, but it would probably be impossible for me to go without bread. Maybe that will be my next challenge, although I might only be able to last 3 days at most!!

And you should be proud Joy. We have just had 3 birthdays including my own and I must confess quite a lot of baddies have been consumed, and not even in guilt. Althuogh I am now wearing some of that around my hips I think....
So what is the famous Peanut butter and jelly cookie, can we encourage anmaree to tell more, sounds good.
Well done...

You are doing great, Joy. Hang in there.
You are doing great, Joy, now if I could do as good. I am doing good in curves, but that no cookie thing, has defeated me a couple times, but I am determined to be a no cookie, no sweets soon. I need some of your will power.
you are doing really great. 1 cookie is fine - just compare to how you used to eat. I like those 100 calorie snack packs, but I want to eat more then 1.
I was on the road last week and when I stopped at McDonalds on the road instead of getting my typical fish sandwich and medium fries, I got a small hamburger and small fries - not good food, but much better then I used too.
I like bread/pasta alot but I've noticed I'm not eating as much as I used to since I started on weight watchers.
That's great you are telling everyone, I've only told a few friends and whoever reads your blog.
Keep up the good work
Nancy
Joy, You are looking amazing. You are an inspiration to me. Keep up the good work and meet your goal. I have already given up on no candy. I have given in the the chocolate.
